CM Shivraj’s announcement, the fare will not be taken from migrant laborers, 31 special trains will run to bring back
Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has expressed his displeasure over the reports of rent being taken from laborers brought from Nashik to Bhopal. The Chief Minister has given instructions to officers not to take rent from any laborer in the future. Along with this, the State Government has requested the Ministry of Railways to run 31 trains to bring laborers from different states. Of these, 22 trains will come from Maharashtra, 2 from Gujarat, 1 from Delhi, 2 from Goa, and 4 other states with train laborers to Madhya Pradesh. 59 thousand laborers returned – while the return of laborers of Madhya Pradesh stuck in other states due to corona infection is going on continuously. So far, 59000 workers have been brought back to the state.

Discussions are on to bring back the workers from states like Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, etc. Train movement and route information are being prepared for Maharashtra, Goa, Haryana, and Gujarat. The demand letter for trains has been sent to the Ministry of Railways and the concerned states.
